Team LaVallee Earns Snocross Gold in Deadwood 🤠

Lieders earns Double 1st Place Finishes & Moras earns 2nd in South Dakota National.


Longville, MN (January 28, 2025) Historic Deadwood, SD was the home to Rounds 4 and 5 on the Snocross National series. This was the 13th time that ISOC National Snocross Series had come to Days of ’76 Event Complex in Deadwood. While the track is the smallest we will see throughout the season, this custom build track featured tight turns, steep jumps, and with limited areas of passing, the holeshot was key in Deadwood.


FRIDAY: ROUND 4 (PRO)

To kick things off on Friday, in Triple Crown Round 1, all 13 Pro riders lined up and were ready to put on a great show at Deadwood. As the green light went for Round 1, Adam Peterson rocketed out of the gates and had a huge jump off of the line (earning the studboy holeshot award) and came out in first place. With the tight and technical course, a couple riders got by and Peterson was sitting in 4 while Bester in 7. As the clock was winding down in the 8 minute plus 1 lap race, Peterson able to secure a solid 6th place finish and Bester in 9th.


In Round 2 of the Triple Crown, Peterson was able to line up in the 5th place spot and Bester pick 8, due to an error from another rider in round 1. Peterson lined up in the far inside, and off of the line, Peterson was pinched out and Bester was able to push up towards front. Within the first couple laps, Bester got stopped with another rider, causing him to go back to the 13th spot and Peterson was in the 9th place spot. As the grueling race continued on, Peterson continued to ride smart and consistent and finished out in the impressive 6th place spot and Bester worked his way up to the 10th place spot.


For the Final race of the day, Peterson coming into the 3rd Triple Crown Round in the 5 place spot and Bester in 10th. As the final green light went for the last race of the day, Bester had a great start sitting in the 5th place position and Peterson was sitting in the 6th place spot. As the clock was winding down and with a combination of lappers and tough visibility, Bester was able to finish out in the impressive 5th spot and Peterson rounded out in the notable 9th.


PETERSON: 5-6-9 (6th Overall)

BESTER: 8-10-5 (9th Overall)



SATURDAY: ROUND 5 (PRO)

Peterson and Bester were looking for a little redemption from the day before in Deadwood and were on the hunt for holeshots, fast lines, and consistent finishes. As the green light went for the first Pro race on Saturday, Bester ripped an amazing holeshot, and right into the second place spot and Peterson came out mid pack. As Bester was on his way to a great race, another rider ran into the back of him causing him to go down and back to 13th.  As the laps flew by, in the 8 min plus 1 lap Round 1 event, Peterson and Bester were navigating their way through and finding fast lines and were able to move their way up to 6th (Peterson) and 9th (Bester).


In Round 2, Bester ripped a huge holeshot on his Team LaVallee, Polaris, Red Bull sled (earning the Studboy holeshot award) and was able to hold a solid 1st place, with teammate, Adam Peterson sitting right behind him in impressive 2nd place. With clear vision, Bester continued to ride a very consistent and smooth race, and Peterson had his work cut out for him battling for the 2nd and 3rd place spot. At the halfway point, Bester was still sitting in 1st and Peterson in 3rd. With 2 minutes plus 1 lap to go, Bester was passed and back to 4th and Peterson was able to maintain 3rd and both riders finished out in those respective positions. An exciting and impressive Round 2.


For the final race of the day in Deadwood, Peterson and Bester both came off of the line mid-pack and had their work cut out for them for the 8 minute plus 1 lap race. As the race continued on, Bester sitting in 7th and Peterson 8 and continued to find fast lines and try to navigate their way through the laps and try to pass their way up. As the checkered flags flew Peterson finished out 6th and Bester in 7th. The scores were tallied, Peterson earned 5th Overall and Bester 6th Overall for Round 5 in Deadwood.

BESTER: 9-4-7 (6 Overall)




PRO AM PLUS 30 (LIEDERS) ROUND 5 & 6PRO AM Plus 2023 CHAMPION, Andy Lieders, had a wonderful weekend of racing in Deadwood. After sweeping 1st place in his qualifying, ripping huge holeshots throughout the day and taking first place in Round 5 final - Lieders was eager to do the same on Saturday. Lieders had a great Round 1 on Saturday, winning his respective round but in Round 2, Lieders had a tough off, causing him to be questionable to finish out the day of racing. With the “Never Give Up” attitude, Lieders lined up for the final race of the day in Deadwood, ripped another impressive holeshot on his Team LaVallee, Polaris sled and won Round 6 in Deadwood. Lieders was able to take double gold in Deadwood, congratulations Andy!

JR 14-15 & SPOT LITE (MORAS) ROUND 5 & 6

After a successful 2nd place podium in the hometown Race of Shakopee, MN - Moras was eager for similar results in Deadwood. Racing in both the JR 14-15 and Sport Lite classes, Moras overall had a very strong and consistent weekend. Over the course of the 2-day National, Moras was able to get up on the box on Friday in the Jr 14/15 Class and secured an excellent 2nd place finish! Congrats, Cody, keep up this momentum for Valcourt!
