š„Adam Peterson 1st , š„Lieders 1st and š„Moras 3rd at World Championship Derby Complex (WCDC)Ā š

Tuesday, March 18, 2025Ā - The seventh stop on the National Snocross tour brought us to the legendary World Championship Derby Complex (WCDC) and was the host to Rounds 12 and 13. Despite the warm temps, WCDC and Snocross were able to make an ample amount of snow and provide a massive track at the Derby. Racers and race-fans alike were in for an exciting 2-Day National, as every race and every point matters as we get closer to crowning the 2025 Champions.
FRIDAY: ROUND 12 (PRO)
For the first Pro race of the night, the action kicked off with a bang, as Peterson ripped a huge holeshot on his Team LaVallee, Polaris, Red Bull sled (earning himself the Studboy Holeshot Award) and teammate Bester had a tough start towards the back of the pack. Peterson rode a consistent and solid first half of the 8 minute plus one lap final, until another rider snuck by and was passed for first. As the checkered flags flew, Peterson finished out Round 1 in the excellent 2nd place spot and Bester was able to bump up to a notable 8th.
Under the lights for Round 2, Bester and Peterson shot out of the gates with Peterson in 4th and Bester in 9th. Both riders continued to search for smooth lines, as the wet and unpredictable track changed lap-by-lap. As the clock was winding down, Peterson made incredible moves and was able to finish out in the impressive 3d place spot, while Bester rounded out in 10th.
Heading into Round 3 of the Triple Crown, and the final race of the day, Peterson was sitting towards the top of the points overall for Round 12 and was on the hunt for a solid finish. As the green light, Peterson had a top 5 start off of the line and Bester was back in the 9th place position. As the race was heating up, the clock was winding down and Peterson continued to put on the pressure as he continued to fight for another pass. As the checkered flags few for the final Pro Race of the night, Peterson finished out in the impressive 3rd place spot and Bester rounded out in 9th (11th overall). As the tallies were counted for, Peterson earned first place overall, making this his first Pro Win of his career. Huge congratulations to, AP3, Adam Peterson!

SATURDAY: ROUND 13 (PRO)
After a memorable Day 1 in Eagle River for Peterson and some tough luck for Bester, both riders were excited to see how things would unfold for Round 13. Despite the challenging weather from wind, to rain, to sloppy and wet track conditions, things were looking good as Peterson took 3rd place and Bester took 5th place in qualifying. As the green light went for the first race of the night in Eagle River, Bester and Peterson ripped out of the gates in their Team LaVallee, Polaris, Red Bull sleds and going into the first corner, Peterson was sitting in the excellent 2nd place spot with Bester close behind in 4th but Bester was quickly pushed back to 10th after the first corner. Throughout the 8 minute plus one lap race, Peterson continued to put on the pressure and was able to maintain his 2nd place spot and Bester was able to bump up one position and finished out in 9th.
For the second Triple Crown race, both riders had a tough start off of the line coming out mid-pack and Peterson had unfortunate contact from another rider, causing him to go down and was pushed to the back of the pack. As clock was winding down, both riders continued to put on pressure and search for smooth lines. Peterson was able to find a fast line and jumped up to the impressive 7th place and Bester rounded out Round 2 in the 10th place spot.
As the green light went for the final Pro race in Eagle River, Peterson rocketed out of the gates on his Team LaVallee, Polaris, Red Bull sled and was sitting in the second place spot and going into the first corner a couple riders were able to pass by with Peterson now sitting in 6th and Bester in 11th. With the intense 8 minute plus one lap race to go, Peterson was on the hunt to gain a position as he was sitting on the bubble of a podium finish. As the clock was winding down, Petersonās strength and determination continued to fight stronger for a podium spot but was not able to gain the amount of points needed. Peterson finished out in the 6th place spot (5th place overall) and Bester rounded out the night in 9th (11th place overall).

PRO AM PLUS 30 (LIEDERS) ROUND 11 & 12PRO AM Plus 2023 CHAMPION, Andy Lieders, was ready to put on a great show at the World Championship Derby Complex (WCDC), as this was a race close to home for Lieders. Over the course of the 2 Day National,Ā Lieders and his Team LaVallee, Polaris sled continued to rip impressive holeshots all throughout the weekend and after some tough luck in the final on Friday, Lieders was able to top the box with a 1st place win on Saturday in Eagle River, congratulations Andy!

JR 14-15 & SPORT LITE (MORAS) ROUND 11 & 12
As Moras entered the legendary Eagle River National, he was hoping to carry his same moment from the race prior in Elk River. Racing in both the JR 14-15 and Sport Lite classes, Moras overall had a consistent weekend of racing. Over the course of the 2-day National, Moras was able to earn an exciting 3rd place finish on Saturday the JR 14-15 Class. Congratulations Cody!
