Peterson Earns 3rd Place Overall in Pro, Moras 3rd in JR 14-15 and Lieders is PRO AM Plus 30 Champion

🥉Peterson 3rd, Bester 8th, Moras 3rd & 8th, and🥇Lieders 1st in Overall Points Championship Race for 2025



Tuesday, April 8, 2025 – Spirit Mountain in Duluth, Minnesota, has been the proud host of the Snocross Nationals for over three decades, and it’s the exciting setting for the final race of the 2024-2025 Snocross National Race Season. Known for its challenging terrain, the track features towering uphills, steep downhills, intense rhythm sections, and spectacular jumps—ensuring excitement for every rider and race fan alike. This action-packed, three-day weekend promised unforgettable moments for both racers and fans as they celebrate the season’s grand finale.


FRIDAY: ROUND 14 (PRO)

After great qualifying with Peterson taking a 3rd place and Bester 5th, both riders were ready for the first race of the 3 day weekend. As the green light went for Triple Crown Round 1, both Peterson and Bester started out tough with mid-pack starts with Peterson in 9 and Bester in 8. Within the first couple of minutes of the 8 minute plus one lap final, Bester went off track pushing him back while Peterson continued to put on the pressure and also had a mishap causing Peterson to finish out in 10th and Bester in 13.


Under the lights for Round 2, Peterson rocketed out of the gates and was sitting in 3rd, but a tough off caused him to move toward the back of the pack. Meanwhile, Bester was on the hunt coming from the back row and was able to finish out Round 2 in 8th and Peterson in 13th.


Heading into Round 3 of the Triple Crown, and the final race of the day, Bester shot out of the gates sitting in 4th and from the back row, Peterson was able to maneuver past a pile up and made his way to 6th. Both riders continued to search for smooth lines, as the wet and unpredictable track changed lap-by-lap. As the clock was winding down, Peterson made incredible moves and was able to finish out in the impressive 4th place spot, while Bester rounded out in 8th


PETERSON: 10-13-4 (8thOverall) BESTER: 13-8-8 (9th Overall)




SATURDAY: ROUND 15 (PRO)

After a tough start to the weekend, Peterson and Bester were searching for redemption for Round 15. For the first Triple Crown race, both riders had a mid-pack start and had their work cut out for them to navigate their way through the tough 8 minute plus one lap final. Peterson sitting in 6th, and Bester in 7th had battled throughout the entire race but did not get the right opportunities to advance. Peterson finished out in 6th and Bester in 9th.


For the second Triple Crown race, Peterson had a good start and was sitting within the top 5 but a mishap off the track quickly pushed Peterson towards the back of the pack, while Bester was on the hunt in the 6th place spot. As the clock was winding down, both riders continued to push hard and Bester finished out in 7th and Peterson in 11.


As the green light went for the final Pro race of the night, Bester rocketed out of the gates on his Team LaVallee, Polaris, Red Bull sled (earning himself the Studboy Holeshot Award) and was sitting in the first place spot with Peterson back in 8th. With the intense 8 minute plus one lap race to go, Bester had the pressure of the entire field on his heals. As the clock was winding down, Bester was passed for first but his strength and determination continued to fight and Bester was able to finish out in the excellent 2nd place spot and Peterson rounded out in 6th. The overall tallies for Round 15 was Bester in the impressive 4th place Overall and Peterson in 7th.


PETERSON: 6-11-6 (7th Overall) BESTER: 9-7-2 (4th Overall)



SUNDAY: ROUND 16 (PRO)

For the final race of the 2024-2025 season, the format featured two motos—Moto 1 and Moto 2—where points from both races were combined to calculate an overall average. Each round lasted 10 minutes plus one additional lap, and getting the holeshot proved to be crucial. In Moto 1 on Sunday, both Peterson and Bester started mid-pack, with Bester in 6th and Peterson in 7th. Throughout the race, the field remained relatively stable, with little movement. Peterson finished in 8th place, while Bester crossed the line in 9th.


In MOTO 2, the final race of the season, Bester had an impressive start, securing 3rd position early, while Peterson found himself further back in the pack. By the end of the first lap, Bester moved up to 2nd, with Peterson sitting in 12th. Bester was relentlessly chasing the top spot in the 10-minute plus one-lap moto. However, the pressure mounted, and a mistake in a corner allowed a few riders to pass him, dropping him back to 6th, while Peterson moved up to 9th. With just two laps remaining, Bester made a push, climbing to 5th, and Peterson advanced to 8th. On the final lap, Ryley went down, allowing Peterson to move up one more position to finish 7th, while Bester ended the race in 10th.


PETERSON: 8-7 (7th Overall) BESTER: 9-10 (10th Overall)


The points were tallied from the 2024-2025 Season and Adam Peterson finished in the excellent 3rd place spot and Bester in 8th. Congratulations on a wonderful season Adam & Ryley!

PRO AM PLUS 30 (LIEDERS) ROUND 13 & 14PRO AM Plus 2023 CHAMPION, Andy Lieders, was ready to put on a great show at Spirit Mountain. Over the course of the 2 Day National,  Lieders and his Team LaVallee, Polaris sled continued to rip impressive holeshots all throughout the weekend and after some tough luck in the final on Friday, Lieders was able to top the box with an excellent 2nd place win on Saturday in Duluth, congratulations Andy! With Lieder’s consistency over the entire season, Andy Lieders was crowned the PRO AM Plus 30 2025 Champion. This is Lieders second time earning the Championship title! Congratulations on this huge accomplishment!

Kyle Pallin made his Pro Plus 30 Debut at Duluth and came home with some hardware. Senior Smiley was back on the track and signed up for the PRO AM Plus 30 Class for Saturday’s race. Pallin had a picture-perfect day of racing winning both of his qualifying rounds and won the Pro AM Plus 30 Final on Saturday night. Congratulations Kyle!

JR 14-15 & SPORT LITE (MORAS) ROUND 13 & 14

As Moras entered the final race of the season, he was hoping to carry the same consistent momentum as he has had all throughout the year. Racing in both the JR 14-15 and Sport Lite classes, Moras overall had a wonderful weekend of racing. Over the course of the 2-day National, Moras was able to earn an exciting 2nd place finish on Saturday the JR 14-15 Class. Moras secured a 3rd place Overall in the JR 14-15 class and earned 8th in Sport Lite. Congratulations Cody!
