Longville, MN (September 15, 2015) – The second stop for the 2015 Terracross races landed in North Branch, Minnesota. Home to the 49th Annual, Sno Barons Hay Days. In a nut-shell, Hay Days is the “unofficial” kick off to winter. Where thousands upon thousands of snowmobile enthusiasts pack this small-town rural area (just north of the Twin Cities) and get to see everything and anything snowmobile – mixed in with a little freestyle and Terracross Racing. This was Levi LaVallee’s second consecutive year racing Terracross at Hay Days and was eager to get a little dirty and battle for a top spot in the finals.

The racing consisted of 2-days, with qualifying rounds Saturday followed by the LCQ (last chance qualifier) and finals on Sunday afternoon. LaVallee was riding the strongest we’ve seen this season, where he won his first heat race on Saturday. One the line of the first Final, LaVallee was sitting in the front row with 14 other Polaris RZR’s sitting behind him. Off of the start, LaVallee was sitting in a podium position, however a slight bump caused him to sideline one of the tires on course and pushed LaVallee back to the 10th spot. With much determination, LaVallee was able to pick off riders and finish in the 5th place position. For the second Final on Sunday, LaVallee made his way in via the LCQ. Meaning this time, LaVallee was at the very back of the pack. LaVallee rode smart, yet aggressive and was able to make clean passes and work his way up to another 5th place finish.
The final two races for the 2015 Terracross season will be held at Charlotte Motor Speedway, September 25th and 26th. Best of luck, Levi!

“Terracross is one of those sports, where you depend so much on your equipment. A mechanical error or a hard crash during a race, are all game-changers when it comes to the final rounds. I was fortunate enough to stay on all 4-wheels this past weekend and go out with a heat win and two top 5 finishes. I am super pumped on the way I drove and looking forward to the final rounds in Charlotte.” – Levi LaVallee
