DIGGING FOR SNOCROSS GOLD IN DEADWOOD (SNOCROSS ROUNDS 7 & 8) 🏁

Longville, MN (January 28, 2020) - Historic Deadwood, South Dakota was the home to Rounds 7 and 8 of the National Snocross Series. The races were held at the Days of ’76 Rodeo Grounds in the heart of downtown Deadwood. With incredible attendance over the 2-Day National, fans from all over the area were in for some exciting racing. The warmer than average weather was great for fans, but tough on the track. The Deadwood National honed the name of the Bristol version of Snocross racing, with the combination of a very tight track, tough visibility, and snow conditions track-side were wet, dense, and rough which was an added challenge for the riders and for their sleds as well.

PRO / PALLIN

Kyle Pallin was looking to keep that Shakopee National momentum going strong after taking two 2nd place finishes at the last Snocross National

.

For Friday, Round 7 Racing - Pallin's qualifying was good but just missed a spot in the front row of the Round 7 Final by one position. Pallin had his work cut out for him coming from the back row but, Pallin's Polaris, Red Bull, Walker Evans Racing sled was ripping and with much determination Pallin worked his way up in the 26 lap final, to an impressive 6th place finish!

On Saturday, Round 8 - Pallin was hungry. With awesome qualifying rounds where Pallin took a 3rd and 1st place finish - allowed him to qualify 3rd for the Round 8 Final. With a 7th place gate-pick, due to the introverted starts, Pallin came off of the line mid-pack and with very hard visibility (zoom in to see Pallin's goggles), Pallin pressed on, rode smooth, and hard and rounded out the weekend in the notable 7th place spot.

Pallin is currently sitting in 6th place overall in the Pro Points Standings.

PRO LITE / BESTER

Pro Lite Rider, Ryley Bester had a phenomenal weekend of racing. Starting out for Round 7 Friday night, Bester took 2nd and a 1st place win in his qualifying rounds. Off of the line of the Pro Lite final, Bester came off of the line strong and rode an incredible race taking home the 3rd place finish Friday night. For Saturday's Racing, Bester was very consistent and took two 4th place finishes in his qualifying and rounded out the weekend with an awesome 5th place finish in Round 8. Bester is currently sitting in 6th place overall in the Pro Lite Points Standings.

PRO LITE / DAUDT

Pro Lite Rider, Evan Daudt had a great weekend of racing. On Friday, Round 7, Daudt had decent qualifying and after winning the LCQ, Daudt was lining up in the Round 7 final from the back row. Off of the start Daudt had his work cut out for him but rode smooth and consistent and finished in an excellent 8th place. For Saturday qualifying, Daudt took two awesome 2nd place finishes but in the Round 8 final, had a tough tangle with a couple other sleds and rounded out the weekend in Deadwood with an 11th place finish. Daudt is currently sitting in 4th place overall in the Pro Lite Points Standings.

"This weekend had a mix of highs and lows for me. I felt like I had good speed out on the track both nights, but struggled with my starts. I'm excited to work on a few things this week during practice, and come ready to win in Dubuque!" - Kyle Pallin
